Welcome to Holmesville Public School, a full service Junior Kindergarten to Grade Eight school located in the beautiful countryside between of Clinton and Goderich in the village of Holmesville, Ontario.

At Holmesville, we are committed to ensuring the success of every child, and to that end, we work closely with parents, families, and the community at large.  This year, as a staff, we will be focusing in particular on teaching strategies designed to improve students’ reading and writing skills, which will surely be even more essential for our children in the future, a future that will be globally integrated but also locally based.  That being said, we never lose sight of the importance of mathematics, the arts, science, French language instruction, physical education, and the development of positive citizenship qualities.  To this end, Holmesville Public School not only offers students a rigorous and diverse academic program, but also many leadership opportunities, opportunities to serve the community and the school, and also a wide range of extracurricular activities including choir and instrumental music.  In short, at Holmesville Public School, we continue the long standing tradition of providing each and every student with a world class education right here in Huron Country.
